Victoria’s Journey is a short documentary that tells the story of a Mexican immigrant striving to build a better future for her daughters while pursuing her own education. Through her experience, the film highlights the impact of the Tacombi Foundation’s Community Kitchen, which has provided culturally tailored, nutritious meals to communities facing food insecurity since 2020, offering not only food but hope and dignity.

Since 2020, the Tacombi Community Kitchen has provided culturally tailored, nutritious meals to families and individuals facing food insecurity.
In the United States, around 44 million people face food insecurity. 1 out of 5 Latinos don´t have enough food to live an active, healthy life.
Victoria migrated from Mexico to the U.S. in search of better educational opportunities. Despite the challenges, she earned her elementary and middle school certificates and is currently working toward her GED.
Her ultimate dream is to inspire her daughters to grow both personally and professionally, reaching opportunities she didn’t have in her home country.
