After Leaving Colombia (2017)
Synopsis
Due to her mother’s educational and political work, Margarita and her family were threatened by paramilitary groups and forced to leave Colombia, seeking refuge abroad. In exile, she meets someone who shares a similar experience of displacement, and they build a life together in Argentina. From there, she remains deeply connected to the struggle for peace and justice in her home country, carrying her history into an ongoing commitment to collective memory and resistance.
