Jota's brother was murdered in 1990 by the Colombian Security Administration Department in the framework of the Colombian armed conflict. Years later someone offered him to avenge his brother's death in exchange of weapons, money and power. Jota has to make a decision: accept the offer or run.

Una monarca en México

Nelida’s father and brothers were killed by a paramilitary group in 1996. She decided to flee Colombia and ask for international protection in Mexico. Once she was safe, she became part of a group integrated by women migrants called: "Monarchs". Sharing with these women, she could heal her past and build up a new life.

Después de Colombia

Margarita's mom was put under arrest because of a crime that she didn't commit. After a lawyer reaches to prove her innocence, a paramilitary group threatened to death her. As a result, Margarita's family flee Colombia and became refugees in Europe. Once there Margarita has to figure out how to build up a new life.
